Enter one course per line: the grade and the credits, for example "A 3" or "B+ 4". Letter grades A–F and the AA–FF system are recognised; you can also type grade points directly, like "3.5 4".
Letter grades convert on the 4.0 scale: A/A+ = 4.0, A− = 3.7, B+ = 3.3, B = 3.0, B− = 2.7, C+ = 2.3, C = 2.0, C− = 1.7, D+ = 1.3, D = 1.0, F = 0. In the AA–FF system: AA 4.0, BA 3.5, BB 3.0, CB 2.5, CC 2.0, DC 1.5, DD 1.0, FD 0.5, FF 0.
Courses with more credits weigh more. Some schools use a different scale or give A+ 4.3 — type grade points directly in that case.
Common questions
How do I calculate my cumulative GPA?
Enter every course from all terms, or enter each past term as one line: its GPA followed by its total credits.
Is a 3.5 GPA good?
On a 4.0 scale, 3.5 is a B+/A− average and is considered strong at most universities.
